  1. Thanks for sharing this tool. An out-of-the-box solution is always convenient, though sometimes a customized experience is essential for certain subjects and training purposes.

    • Sure, there are always times when it’s worth the time and effort to do something more customized. i wonder if you could use BranchTrack for a rapid prototype though, even if you eventually created the final product as a custom Flash/HTML5 activity.

    • We love customized experiences! This is why we let our users create the branching scenario in our editor, export it to JSON format and use it with any custom-built engine. You don’t have to rely on our characters and our player if you can build something cooler. E.g. one guy built a retail store simulator, where all dialogues are powered by BranchTrack behind the scenes. In fact, he links to our live JSONs, so he can edit the dialogues in BranchTrack and see the changes instantly in the game.

And of course, you can swap our characters and backgrounds for your own assets online or offline.

  2. Hi everyone! I am the CEO of BranchTrack, and I really appreciate your feedback. Don’t hesitate to get in touch directly if you need anything, or have a feature request, or just want to talk about interactive learning experiences. Just email me at sergey@branchtrack.com.

Christy, thank you for bringing us up in your blog! Let me know if you want to learn (and write) more about BranchTrack!
